Doug the Pug has over 2.8 million Instagram followers, and 5.9 Facebook page likes, and to prove his rising fame is in Katy Perry’s latest music video “Swish, Swish”
Ever since this swaggy pug first graced social media he slowly but surely rose to the top. Now, he has an A-list presence on any social media platform you can think of.
But of course, none of this would have happened without the help of his “momager,” Leslie Mosier. In an interview with Food & Wine, Mosier said: “When I started posting photos of Doug, I quickly realized that photos of him with food or a piece of pizza always did better. Before long, his personality and brand developed, and he became this junk food aficionado. Anyone who loves pugs knows that they’re gluttons.”
However, IRL, Doug the Pug has a pretty healthy diet—he eats a raw diet and has a nutritionist. Seriously, this dog is living a better life than the rest of us. SMH
